Shipping Point usage history is suitable for stores that need to know point movement details in the system related to point replenishment, deductions, or returns from carriers. For example, how many points were deducted for additional services, how much the carrier added for shipping costs, or when the system returned points. Businesses can easily check these details by following the steps below:
1. Click on the “Shipping Point” button on the top right
2. The system will navigate to the usage history page, displaying the following information:
A. Total remaining points: Current points balance
B. Total: Shows overall point movement history for the store, including:
- Point replenishments
- Point deductions
- Point returns
C. Point Replenishments: Shows history of point additions, e.g., date added, amount added, etc.
D. Point Deductions: Shows history of point deductions for various shipping costs, categorized as follows:
- When using the Shipping Point service, the system deducts estimated shipping costs based on entered weight and product size.
- After the carrier picks up the goods, if the actual weight and size differ from what was entered, the carrier will send back the data to ZORT, and additional points will be deducted. For example, for product A, when calling the shipping service, the weight was entered as 1 kilogram, and the system deducted 20 points. When the carrier weighs the goods, the actual weight is found to be 2 kilograms, the store must pay an additional 20 points. When the carrier sends back data, the system will deduct the additional 20 points from the said tracking number.
E. Point Returns: Shows the history of point returns in cases where the carrier takes the parcel to weigh and measure its actual dimensions again. If the actual weight and dimensions are less than those entered in the system, the carrier will send the data back to ZORT and proceed to return the points to the store. For example, for product B, when calling for shipping, the weight entered was 3 kilograms, and the system deducted 40 points. When the carrier weighs the parcel again, it is found to weigh 2 kilograms. The store would only need to pay the actual shipping cost of 30 points. When the carrier sends back the data, the system will return 10 points corresponding to that tracking number to the store.
