Shipping Channel Settings
This section allows you to configure shipping options to be selected during sales transactions. You can set up weight calculation or choose to display COD (Cash on Delivery) options.
Steps to Set Up Shipping Channels
1. Click on “Add Shipping Channel.”
2. Complete all required fields with the following details:
A. Shipping Channel: Enter the shipping channel.
B. Display: Choose to display the shipping option in the sales transaction list, on the shared link page, or the order page.
C. Settings: Choose whether the shipping option includes COD or Cash on Delivery. (This setting affects the display in sales transactions only and does not impact actual shipping arrangements.)
D. Type: You can set the shipping fee calculation in 3 different ways:
- Flat Shipping: The flat rate calculation means setting a single price for shipping, such as 50 THB per transaction.
- Weight Shipping: The weight-based calculation means setting the shipping fee according to the weight of the items. You can specify a starting weight and an additional fee per gram. For example, for a transaction with 5 items each weighing 100 grams, you can set the starting weight at 300 grams with a shipping fee of 40 THB, and an additional 5 THB for every 100 grams thereafter (the shipping fee will be calculated as 40 THB for the first 300 grams, plus 5 THB for the next 100 grams, totaling 50 THB).
- Piece Shipping: The per-item calculation means setting the shipping fee based on the number of items in a transaction. For example, for a transaction with 5 items, you can set the starting shipping fee at 40 THB, and add 5 THB per additional item (the shipping fee will be calculated as 40 THB for the first item, plus 5 THB for each of the next 4 items, totaling 60 THB).
